I can attest to the newfound popularity of Rusev as “Rusev Day” gear was the most prevalent amongst the fans in Philadelphia over Royal Rumble weekend. Rusev and Rusev Day chants were also very loud during The Bulgarian Brute’s participation in the Rumble match:
WWE ordered 5000 more Rusev Day calendars after their initial order of 2500 sold quicker than expected.
