Game Changer Wrestling has announced a last minute change to Matt Riddle’s Bloodsport taking place today at the Pontchartrain Convention Center in New Orleans.
For undisclosed reasons, Low Ki will not be able to compete in his scheduled main event match against UFC fighter-turned-pro wrestler Matt Riddle. Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful.com reported that the promotion was not made aware of the former WWE Superstar missing the show until Tuesday night. It’s unknown at this point if Low Ki sustained an injury or if he pulled out of the event for some other reason, but we’ll keep you posted if more information becomes available.
GCW has announced a MASSIVE replacement for the bout, as New Japan Pro Wrestling star Minoru Suzuki will instead face Matt Riddle in what is sure to be a brutally physical bout that can only be won by submission or knock-out. Make sure you check out Matt Riddle’s Bloodsport on FITE.tv today at 4:00 PM EST. The show is only $14.99 which is worth it for that main event alone, plus WALTER vs. “Filthy” Tom Lawler and Nick Gage vs. Timothy Thatcher in matches where there are no ropes and only submissions count.
