It’s already been one heck of a night on WWE RAW in New Orleans, as former NXT Women’s Champion Ember Moon and No Way Jose have made their main roster debuts, the “Charismatic Enigma” Jeff Hardy returned from injury, and the “Dominator” Bobby Lashley made his return to the company for the first time in over a decade.
Next up on our list of surprises, former NXT Tag Team Champions The Authors of Pain made their main roster debuts on RAW tonight and made short work of Heath Slater and Rhyno to pick up their first official victory in WWE. AOP advances in the “tag team eliminator” announced by Kurt Angle earlier in the night, where the winners will face The Bar to crown the new RAW Tag Team Champions. That match will go down at the end of this month at The Greatest Royal Rumble event in Saudi Arabia.
One major note, it appears that Akam and Rezar will be going it alone on the main roster. The Authors of Pain debuted with their legendary manager Paul Ellering, but the big boys ended up ditching him before heading to the back.
