There have been several defining moments in the time of the Women’s Revolution of WWE. From the first ever women’s Royal Rumble to women main eventing Raw, to the first time women have been allowed to compete in Abu Dahbi. But no one can deny that one of the first shots heard round the world was during the Monday Night Raw debut of Charlotte Flair, Becky Lynch, and Sasha Banks on July 13th, 2015.
It was the time of the divas before then, and Nikki Bella was running the show, but Stephanie McMahon introduced us into three new competitors who would join Paige to spearhead the new Women’s Revolution. You can watch that incredible moment above, but Charlotte Flair has taken the time to reminisce on that special moment, among others within her career on her Instagram. And to top it off, she says that the Women’s Division in WWE has only scratch the surface.
#flashbackfriday 3 years ago today I debuted on #Raw @wwe in Atlanta and had no idea what the future was going to hold. Main events, Ladder Matches, Hell In a Cell, Titles, Brand Splits, Robes (@terrysews2) and co-workers that become family. We have a very special job as @WWE talent and the memories I have made in and outside of the ring I am going to cherish forever. Wrestling has changed my life for the better in so many ways and cant wait to see where it continues to take me both professionally and personally. The Women’s Division has come so far and I believe we’ve really only scratched the surface 💫💪🏻🙏🏻
