If Manchester United needed any more reminding of how valuable David De Gea is to their team, he once again proved it against Tottenham Hotspur.
The goalkeeper made 11 saves to keep the Spurs attack out and help his side to a 1-0 win.
United have been desperate to keep hold of their star man for a number of years.
His current £200,000 a week contract expires in 2020 and the club are looking to secure his long-term future in Manchester.
It was reported earlier this week that he is prepared to commit to the Red Devils but is waiting on an offer that would see his wages jump from £200,000 a week to £300,000.
So, where the Spain goalkeeper will rank in the top earners in the Premier League if he does get that new deal? Find out below.
9= Alexandre Lacazette (Arsenal) – £200,000

The £75million signing from Everton has 24 Premier League goals in 53 games for United since his transfer in 2017.

The midfielder became the highest earner at the Blues after signing his new contract in November.
The 27-year-old was signed for just £32million in 2016 after he won the Premier League title with Leicester City.
3. David De Gea (Manchester United) – £300,000 (up from £200,000)

The Spaniard is now in his eighth season at the club.
