Today is the funeral service for former WWE star Brian Christopher, who tragically passed away last Sunday at the age of 46.
As noted, numerous individuals, including Sean Waltman and Christopher’s father Jerry Lawler, have expressed their unhappiness with how Christopher was treated when he was jailed on charges of DUI.
FOX 13 out of Memphis reported earlier this week that Memphis civil rights attorney Jeff Rosenblum, who in the past has filed suit against county jails on behalf of inmates injured or denied proper medical treatment, says the Lawler family should demand answers regarding the death of Brian Christopher.
Additionally, Sean Waltman spoke out about the situation on his podcast, adding, “I’m really pissed about this, really pissed. Because I’ve been in that situation in more than one way. And you don’t take someone that’s not done something violent or isn’t a danger to others. Even then, you don’t put somebody in solitary confinement.”
Christopher’s father, WWE Hall of Famer Jerry Lawler, Tweeted the following as he says goodbye to his son today:
About to begin the toughest day of my life…saying goodbye to my son, Brian. pic.twitter.com/0dTExLT45y
