It has been 18 months since the Wyatt Family has been torn apart by the 2017 Superstar Shake-Up, but according to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter there has been at least some talk of putting the group back together.
The three founding members of the Wyatt Family – Bray Wyatt, Luke Harper and Erick Rowan – made their main roster debut together in 2013, leading to a big match against Kane at that year’s WWE SummerSlam pay-per-view.
They’ve been off-and-on-again ever since with various incarnations of the group, including a debuting Braun Strowman and for storyline purposes, Daniel Bryan and “The Viper” Randy Orton.
With Erick Rowan currently injured and looking at a long timetable for return, and “Woken” Matt Hardy potentially retired from in-ring competition, the two remaining members of the “Family” are left without tag team partners.
The idea would be to put Wyatt and Harper back together again, although the obvious barricade stands in their way that they currently reside on different brands. Given that the Bella Twins seem to be able to appear wherever they want, that barrier isn’t likely to stop WWE anytime soon.
