Impact Wrestling made its return to Las Vegas, NV this weekend to kick off a three day set of television tapings at the Sam Town’s Casino. The promotion is expected to take six episodes of TV which will begin rolling out next Thursday night.
— LAX def. Fallah Bahh & KM
— Tessa Blanchard (c) def. Ray Lyn to retain the Knockouts Championship. Taya Valkyrie came out with news that she would be challenging for the title at Impact Homecoming on 1/6.
— Eli Drake came out and complained about hardcore wrestling ruining the business, etc. Tommy Dreamer interrupted and got in his face, but Drake walked off and refused to fight.
— Johnny Impact def. Matt Sydal. Killer Kross interrupted the champ’s post-match celebration to offer his assistance going forward, but for very obvious reasons Impact didn’t trust him.
–– Su Yung def. Heather Monroe. After the match Yung put the newcomer in the Mandible Claw again until Kiera Hogan came out make the save. Allie came out next and stopped Hogan from attacking Yung, still under her “mind control” I guess.
— The Lucha Bros. def. Rich Swann & Willie Mack.
— LAX cut a promo challenging the Lucha Brothers to a match for the Impact Tag Team Championships at Impact Homecoming.
— Jordynne Grace def. Katarina
— The Rascalz def. ???
— The Desi Hit Squad def. ???
— Brian Cage (c) def. Sami Callihan to retain the X-Division Championship. After the match, Cage revealed that he would be doing something a champion hasn’t in a very long time — invoking “Option C” for a shot at the Impact World Championship… at Homecoming!
