WWE posted a quick backstage interview with The Revival after a successful tag team title win at a live event on March 16.
Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder were tired, they were beat up but they were determined as always. But in what was a matter of moments after beating Chad Gable and Bobby Roode, The Revival was already talking about Aleister Black and Ricochet.
The NXT standouts have definitely been making an impression on WWE fans since the two men debuted on the company’s main roster. They’ve brought an intensity and a hard-hitting style that has gotten them over with live audiences all over the country.
The pair is certainly on The Revival’s radar and it’s obvious that the four men are likely headed for a major showdown at some point. That showdown may come on The Grandest Stage of Them All at WrestleMania 35. The big event takes place on April 7 and it may be the best night for both teams to get in the ring and prove what they can do at The Showcase of the Immortals.
But Gable and Roode shouldn’t be forgotten here. It’s entirely possible that the Raw Tag Team Championships will be defended in a Triple Threat Math with all three teams participating.
Despite what happens, The Revival has earned the right to be on top of the division. Many fans believe that the duo should remain there for the foreseeable future but In the world of WWE, everything chan change at a moment’s notice. Dash and Dawson may be the champs now but that may not be the case after April 7.
