Norwich attacker Onel Hernandez has gone viral after revealing his appreciation for the Argos catalogue.
The Cuban-born winger joined the Canaries from Eintracht Braunschweig in January 2018 and, having now spent a year club, gave an interview discussing his favourite things about living in the city.
“I love the city,” Hernandez said in the NCFC match day magazine, “I like that I live next to the stadium and next to me is a Morrison’s which is good so I can buy my food.
“And also I’d never seen an Argos before in my life. I walked inside and saw the catalogue with things you can order.
“You can order bikes, TVs – we don’t have this in Germany, Argos has everything and I’ve never seen this in my life before.
“When I need something, I buy it from Argos. I live in a perfect area.”
Upon seeing the online reaction to his answer, the official Argos Twitter account tweeted Hernandez and told him: “We’re glad that we’ve helped you settle into Norwich City.
“We’ve got a special catalogue signed by our CEO coming your way, and we’d like to send you a selection of some of our canary-coloured products too. DM us.”
The 25-year-old replied with some funny edited images that had been made by fans in reaction to the story: “Thank you Argos. I’m looking forward to the next purchase.”
