Jon Moxley returned to action for All Elite Wrestling this Saturday night in Daytona Beach, in something of a return-to-form for the once hardcore indie icon.
The former world champion faced off against the “Bad Boy” Joey Janela in a match that many fans have been clamoring for ever since Mox announced his departure from WWE earlier this year. In order to push the hardcore stipulation for the bout, AEW announced that it would be so extreme that management “wanted nothing to do with it”, instead saving for the end of the night as an “lights out, unsanctioned” brawl.

Some poor fan literally doesn’t have a leg to stand on.
Janela using an actual prosthetic leg is the first weapons spot of the match! I think Mox is already bleeding somehow. #FyterFest pic.twitter.com/goeAvKcB3G

Moxley would ultimately win the violent battle after a wild toss through a pool of thumbtacks, a bare-footed attack into the tacks, several stomps to the head, even more thumbtacks, and one last Paradigm Shift (the new move for his finisher, formerly known as Dirty Deeds).
