– WWE Heavyweight Champion John Cena advanced into the 2nd round on ABC’s Fast Cars and Superstars which debuted on the network last night. Cena posted a time of 1:52:02, which was good enough for 2nd place, behind Jewel who posted a time of 1:51:78. Cena beat out former NBA star John Salley who had a time of 2:05:39.
– The ending of Monday’s RAW was made mention of on ESPN’s SportsCenter as well as their Pardon the Interruption show. At the end of PTI, Tony Kornheiser asked his colleague Michael Wilbon if it was a big deal that Vince McMahon was blown up. Wilborn responded, “Yes, Tony, symbolically. His on-air personality is out of WWE. That’s a good thing.”
– Despite a tremendous amount of promotion and buzz, Monday’s RAW featuring the 2007 Draft Lottery only posted a 3.8 cable rating. This must come as a major disappointment to several within WWE as several people in the company were anticipating a rating of 4.0 or better.
