— “Nature Boy” Ric Flair was in New Orleans last night to watch the Game 7 NBA playoff game between the San Antonio Spurs and the New Orleans Hornets. Broadcaster Marv Albert noted, “Wrestling icon Ric Flair is here.” Flair is a big Hornets fan going back to when they played in Charlotte.
— “The Million Dollar Man” Ted DiBiase has been at WWE’s TV shows over the past week. DiBiase’s autobiography will be released on June 10th. His son Ted, Jr. was a standout at Florida Championship Wrestling and has been on the road with WWE for the past few weeks. He’s expected to be called up to television shortly, most likely for SmackDown!
— Former K-1 fighter Imani Lee has signed a WWE developmental contract. The 30 year old African American kickboxer and had a 1-3 record in K-1 and is said to be close with Dave Batista. He’s actually been training at Florida Championship Wrestling on and off for a few months, but he’s now officially signed.
