McMahon Wants Better Acting From WWE Stars, Latest On WWE Confiscating Signs

Posted on February 2, 2021

— Recently, Vince McMahon has been talking about wanting the wrestlers to become better actors. McMahon believes that Raw should be able to stand up to the acting on a regular television show. Unfortunately for WWE, a lot of wrestlers just aren’t very good actors. One of Freddy Prinze Jr.’s roles (who’s still a writing assistant on SmackDown working underneath Michael Hayes and Christopher DeJosephs) is to coach the wrestlers on their acting skills.

— If you go to a WWE show, you probably shouldn’t bring a Ric Flair sign. At Monday’s Raw taping in Minneapolis, WWE had security confiscate signs featuring Flair’s name. WWE had security go up to them after seeing it on the monitor from the back. Also, you shouldn’t bring anything controversial, or risk being thrown out. Two people brought signs such as “Urine Sample Please,” “Make It Look Real” and “Kick his ass, Sea Bass” (which was visible early on Raw) and were reportedly kicked out of the arena.

— There will be some more wrestling-related viewing on Thursday night, in addition to the WrestleMania special, the magic show following it featuring Maria & Eve Torres, as well as TNA Impact featuring the Impact Zone debut of Mick Foley. Big Show is scheduled to appear on Attack of the Show on G4 this Thursday night at 7 p.m. The show replays at 1 a.m.
