— The New York Times confirmed today in the following report that United States astronaut Buzz Aldrin will be serve as Raw guest host on May 17 when the show emanates from Toronto. On July 20, 1969, Aldrin was the second person to set foot on the Moon, following Neil Armstrong.

Interestingly, he was defending the Intercontinental Championship on the tour even though he had been stripped of the title at Tuesday’s SmackDown taping. — Due to Raw taking place tomorrow night in the Mellon Arena, the venue will not be airing the Pittsburgh Penguins vs. Montreal Canadians Stanley Cup playoff game on the big screens. Road games are traditionally shown inside the arena.
