On Monday night, TNA held the first taping for the newly re-branded show on Spike TV, Impact Wrestling.
At the taping (set to air Thursday night), the top two matches were announced for the upcoming Slammiversary pay-per-view:
* TNA Champion Sting vs. Mr. Anderson.
* Kurt Angle vs. Jeff Jarrett in a #1 contender’s match
As we saw last week, Impact Wrestling has an entirely new look – including a new blue & white logo. The Impact Zone has also received a makeover. There is a new set a new ring apron and the ring now has blue ring ropes. Overall the Impact Zone now resembles SmackDown a lot.
