– NXT Takeover: Brooklyn on August 22 from the Bayclays Center is close to sold out. More tickets for the event were released on Saturday. The show will likely end up drawing 10,000 or more fans, making it the biggest NXT event in history.
– WWE banned the name “Wade” in reference to King Barrett a while back, which is why Barrett no longer uses it. There’s been speculation that Barrett will go back to the “Bad News” gimmick after Battleground tonight, as his “Crown” is on the line in his Kickoff Show match against R-Truth.
