Friday marked a milestone in the career of Adam “Edge” Copeland.
The WWE Hall Of Famer made his official RAW television debut twenty years ago to the day on Friday, June 23rd. The man who would go on to become “The Rated-R Superstar” defeated Jose Estrada that night on his RAW debut 20 years ago yesterday.
Edge took to his official Twitter page yesterday to comment on the milestone.
“Thanks to some fine folks on Twitter for reminding that 20 years ago today this young, hungry, hairy, guyliner wearing kid debuted on @WWE television,” wrote the WWE Hall Of Famer, who hosts the E&C’s Pod Of Awesomeness podcast every week with Christian at Art19.com.
