Posted on November 21, 2020

WWE is taping this week’s episode of SmackDown Live this afternoon at the Manchester Arena in Manchester, England, and as always, Rajah.com has you covered.

We will be providing live play-by-play results coverage of the taping for tonight’s show as it happens. Featured below is our coverage. Make sure to refresh this page often to view the latest updates.

WWE SmackDown Live (11/6/2018)

This week’s SmackDown Live kicks off inside the Manchester Arena with Shane McMahon in the ring with Paige. Shane admits he is not the best in the world and claims he did everything he did in the World Cup Tournament at WWE Crown Jewel for the SmackDown Live brand.

Shane McMahon Makes Survivor Series Announcements

Shane then announces himself as the men’s SmackDown team in the traditional elimination match at Survivor Series. The Miz and Daniel Bryan will be joint team captains for the blue team. Bryan was originally announced but Miz interrupted and Shane changed his mind. The SmackDown Commissioner also confirms The Bar vs. The Authors of Pain for Survivor Series.

SmackDown Announcements For Tonight

It is announced that Rey Mysterio and Andrade “Cien” Almas will go one-on-one this evening. Also tonight will be The New Day vs. The Usos, and that match is next.

The Usos vs. The New Day

The Usos took on The New Day in tag-team action in the first match inside the ring for this week’s blue brand show. In the end, The Usos picked up the win, possibly to become Team Captains for a Survivor Series tag-team bout.

After the match, The Usos took to the mic and put over The New Day. They end up picking The New Day to be on the tag-team battle at Survivor Series.

Winners: The Usos

Daniel Bryan & The Miz

Backstage we see Daniel Bryan and The Miz discussing Rey Mysterio for Team SmackDown in the traditional elimination match at Survivor Series. Bryan does want him on the team, but Miz says he hasn’t accomplished anything since he has returned to WWE.

It is finally declared that if Mysterio can defeat Almas later in tonight’s show, he will officially be on the blue team at Survivor Series. They decide that the fifth member of the team will also be determined tonight.

Becky Lynch Addresses Ronda Rousey, Issues Open Challenge

SmackDown Women’s Champion Becky Lynch makes her way to the ring for a promo segment. She asks Ronda Rousey who the hell she thinks she is. She says Ronda isn’t a true champion yet because she hasn’t had a true test yet. She says she is The Man and doesn’t care if Rousey is “the baddest bitch on the planet,” because at Survivor Series, she is going to make Rousey her “b*tch.”

Lynch then issues an open challenge and SAnitY’s music hits. Eric Young, Killian Dain and Alexander Wolfe make their way down to the ring. NXT Superstar Nikki Cross is with them, and she gets a huge pop from the Manchester audience. They trade words on the mic and this leads to a match.

Becky Lynch vs. Nikki Cross

Lynch defeats Nikki Cross in a one-on-one match that the crowd loved. This had a lot of intense, fast-paced, hard-hitting action. Lynch dominated the majority of the contest, however it wasn’t a “squash match” by any means.

Winner: Becky Lynch

Daniel Bryan & The Miz Again

Backstage, we see Daniel Bryan and The Miz again talking about their team for Survivor Series. Bryan picks Jeff Hardy for his final spot, while Miz picks Samoa Joe.

Rey Mysterio vs. Andrade “Cien” Almas

The match between Mysterio and “Cien” Almas for Mysterio to earn a spot on Team SmackDown at Survivor Series is now up.

This was another excellent match in what has been two back-to-back awesome contests inside the ring inside the Manchester Arena. The match garnered “This Is Awesome” chants and other positive reactions. In the end, Mysterio won with the 6-1-9.

After the match, Randy Orton ran down and hit the ring and laid out Mysterio with an RKO out of nowhere for a huge pop.

Winner: Rey Mysterio

Paige Introduces SmackDown Women’s Team For Survivor Series

SmackDown G.M. Paige comes down to the ring to introduce the women’s team for SmackDown at Survivor Series. Carmella comes out first with R-Truth. Naomi is out next. Then Sonya Deville. Now Asuka. Finally, Charlotte Flair. Wait. Her music plays but instead Mandy Rose comes out. Paige says Rose will not be replacing Flair. Rose asks why Deville was picked instead of her. A brawl ensues until finally Rose backs off.

Samoa Joe vs. Jeff Hardy

Finally, it’s time for the bout between Samoa Joe and Jeff Hardy to determine the final spot on the men’s SmackDown team at Survivor Series. The Miz and Daniel Bryan sat at ringside during this one.

In the end, Joe picks up the win over Hardy to earn the final spot on the team. After the match, Joe taunts Bryan and the two start fighting. Bryan gets him in the Yes! Lock but Miz breaks it up. Now Miz and Bryan are going at it! Shane McMahon finally comes out to make the save. Bryan accidentally slams Shane during the chaos. The show goes off the air with Shane McMahon, Samoa Joe, Daniel Bryan and The Miz all staring each other down.

Winner: Samoa Joe
