As noted, WWE announced this week that they will be bringing their special NXT TakeOver: XXV live WWE Network event to the Webster Bank Arena in Bridgeport, Connecticut on Saturday, June 1st.
On Wednesday evening, WWE released a video on their official website and various social media channels that features the WWE COO explaining how Bridgeport, Conn. ended up as the host city for NXT TakeOver: XXV.
The description for the video, which you can watch below, reads: “WWE COO Triple H explains how Bridgeport, Conn., wound up as the host city of NXT TakeOver: XXV on June 1. Get tickets for TakeOver: XXV starting this Friday, May 10, at NXTtickets.com.”
“The Game” also posted the following tweet on Thursday morning to promote the ticket on-sale for the event.
