Rangers boss Steven Gerrard is currently enjoying his first January transfer window as a manager.
The Liverpool legend moved quickly to snap up Jermain Defoe on an 18-month loan from Bournemouth.
Shortly after the arrival of the prolific striker, club hero Steven Davis also returned on loan until the end of the season.
With rivals Celtic currently top on goal difference and with a game in hand, Gerrard will be keen to secure more signings to ensure his title charge does not fall flat.
However, the possibility of players quitting remains a distinct possibility – Alfredo Morelos has already admitted he wants to leave.
Here are all the latest transfer rumours and news coming from the blue half of Glasgow.
Adam Lallana tipped to join
England international Adam Lallana has been linked with a shock move to Scotland by bookies.
The 30-year-old’s career at Anfield has stalled and a move away seems likely.
According to oddschecker.com, Bet Victor have made the attacking midfielder joint-favourite to sign for Rangers at 4/1.
Ravel Morrison linked with shock move
Enigmatic midfielder Ravel Morrison is being linked with a move to the Gers this month.
Once tipped as the best academy player since Paul Scholes by Sir Alex Ferguson, the 25-year-old has failed to live up to his potential.
After moves to West Ham United, Cardiff City, Queens Park Rangers and Lazio, the talented playmaker is playing for Mexican side Atlas.
However, he has since begun to follow Rangers’ official page, Steven Gerrard, Joe Worrall, Jon Flanagan and Ryan Kent on Instagram – leaving many to speculate he is going to move.
Old Firm battle for O’Riley
Celtic and Rangers are keen on signing Fulham midfielder Matt O’Riley, but face competition from several European sides.
According to Sky Sports, the 18-year-old is wanted by Stuttgart, RB Leipzig and Borussia Dortmund as well as several promotion-hunting Championship sides.
O’Riley has featured for the Under-23 side at Craven Cottage, impressing in a 3-1 win over Manchester United.
Forrest have to pay for Worrall
New Nottingham Forrest boss Martin O’Neill reportedly wants to bring back defender Joe Worrall from his loan spell at Ibrox.
However, the Championship side want to bring him back to the City Ground in order to ease the current injury crisis they have at the back.
Jack Robinson is the club’s only fit, senior defender and is precariously close to receiving a suspension on nine yellow cards.
The 22-year-old has started 15 games under Steven Gerrard, meaning he is contractually obliged to stay for the remainder of the season. Forrest will have to pay to end the contract and get him back.
Karlan Ahearne-Grant not going anywhere
Should Alfredo Morelos depart in the January transfer window, Rangers scouts have been monitoring Charlton Athletic star Karlan Ahearne-Grant.
The 21-year-old, who has scored 13 goals in 27 appearances for the promotion chasing Addicks this season, has six months remaining on his current deal.
However, talkSPORT understands the club will resist any offers for the talented forward.

Kamara wanted for the weekend
Rangers have already agreed to sign Glen Kamara from Dundee in the summer after signing a pre-contract agreement with the midfielder.
However, according to the Daily Star, Gerrard wants to sign the midfielder before then to boost his title bid.
The Gers play Cowdenbeath on Friday in the Scottish Cup fourth-round.
But Gerrard is looking forward to the midweek trip to Kilmarnock on January 23 to bring Kamara in.
