Edmond, Okla. — Minnesota State garnered 99 points to remain ranked No. 9 in the latest installment of the Division II Wrestling Coaches Association poll. Four Mavericks are ranked nationally at their individual weight class, highlighted by junior David Demo (125 lbs), who is ranked third.
Joining Demo in the national rankings is sophomore Cody Quinn (165 lbs), who is ranked fourth, senior Aaron Norgren (184 lbs), who is ranked fifth and junior Brendan Eichmann (174 lbs), who is ranked sixth.
After having some time of for break, MSU will return to the mat January 12-13 as it travels to Springfield, Ill. to compete in the NWCA National Duals.
MSU will open NSIC action on January 18 as U-Mary makes the trek to Mankato.
