It seems that one-half of the NXT Tag Team Champions may have issues working in Canada. WWE recently advertised the NXT Tag Team Champions The Undisputed Era (Bobby Fish & Kyle O’Reilly) for NXT’s four day event tour of Ontario, Canada. The event was scheduled to take place from Feb. 22 to Feb. 25, but the duo did not appear at any of the events. They instead worked NXT shows in Florida over those days.
According to Dave Meltzer in a recent edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Fish, at least in the past, had issues getting into Canada. However, he was told that this problem “was taken care of.” Meltzer also noted that he can’t find a record of Fish working in Canada since 2014 for Ring of Honor. It will be interesting to see what exactly is the problem of Fish having issues working in Canada and will it be taken care of by the WWE as promised. More details will be provided once it is made available.
