WrestleMania Main Event Changed? NXT Star Hurt, New Andre Trailer

For several months now, the belief has been that Roman Reigns will challenge and defeat Brock Lesnar to win the Universal Championship in the main event WrestleMania this year. That seemed to be the plan up until recently, because a new report from the Wrestling Observer Newsletter has revealed that another match could be ending the event this year instead. The move is reportedly being considered due to the fact that WWE is in the process of downplaying Brock Lesnar so that it will not seem like too big a loss if he decides to leave for UFC after the WrestleMania. No word on what may main event the show now, but the mixed tag team match involving Ronda Rousey is a likely possibility.
It is no secret that a flurry of NXT stars have been going down with injuries as of late. It was just reported this week that Montez Ford and Bobby Fish received injuries at NXT live events. Unfortunately, it sounds like another name can be added to the growing list of injuries. PWInsider reports that Demitrius Bronson has received a really bad concussion which will keep him out of action for a while. Bronson had a brief run in the NFL before joining WWE in 2016. He made his in-ring debut last March and has continued to wrestle on NXT live events ever since. Hopefully, Bronson and all of the other NXT stars who have gone down with injuries as of late will be able to recover and return swiftly.
Andre the Giant is one of the most legendary performers in the history of professional wrestling. His unique size made him an attraction that thousands of fans were interested in seeing. The amount of stories that have been told about his life over the years are worthy of being featured in a film. To no one’s surprise, film director Jason Hehir and WWE have done just that by partnering up with HBO to create a documentary based on the life and career of Andre the Giant. The first trailer for the documentary premiered a few months back, but HBO has released a second trailer for the film. The documentary airs on HBO on April 10th.
