CM Punk left WWE in controversial fashion back in 2014 and has decided to remain distant from professional wrestling altogether ever since. Punk has been training for an MMA career in recent years, and he competed in his first fight during UFC 203 back in 2016 wherein he lost to Mickey Gall. A lot of speculation from UFC President Dana White and CM Punk himself have been cast as far as when the former WWE Champion will be fighting next, but his next fight has finally been confirmed. UFC officially announced earlier today that CM Punk will be returning to the octagon to fight Mike Jackson at the upcoming UFC 225 event in Punk’s hometown of Chicago, Illinois on June 9th.

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson was one of the most successful professional wrestlers of all time, but he has since gone on to be one of the most profitable actors today before now becoming a major entrepreneur as well. The Rock has several different projects going on in the worlds of film and television, and he will be producing and appearing in the upcoming WWE Studios film “Fighting With my Family” soon as well. However, BET has just announced that a six-episode docu-series produced by Johnson’s Seven Bucks Productions company is on the way. “Finding Justice” tells stories about African American leaders who work on criminal cases in order to, well, find justice. No premiere date has been confirmed as of yet.
One of the youngest and most gifted talents currently training in WWE’s Performance Center at the moment has got to be Lio Rush. Rush is incredibly athletic and has a ton of potential to be a star on any of WWE’s shows someday. Rush has been competing mostly on NXT live events, but he may be getting ready to change himself up in NXT by having another superstar accompany him to the ring. Rush introduced former football player Babatunde Aiyegbusi as his bodyguard during the recent NXT television tapings in Full Sail University. The young wrestling standout won his match in a dark match which took place before the tapings officially began last night.
