Despite rumors suggesting that WWE may be ready to bring a PPV to the UK, according to a report in a recent edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, it was stated that the chances of this happening are still slim. While one of the lower tier PPVs could always be possible, one of the big five PPVs (especially WrestleMania) is unlikely to be brought to the UK due to the logistics of travel, the costs of doing it overseas, as well as the change in time slot to work out.
The planned feud and match between Roman Reigns and Jinder Mahal is still likely to happen as one of the main reasons why the WWE is having Roman Reigns work a program with Jinder Mahal is because it’s another attempt to get him cheered. With Mahal being a strong heel, the hope is that when they wrestle at Money in the Bank next month, Reigns will get predominantly cheered.
