Bellandur Lake, the biggest water body in Bengaluru, caught fire again on January 19 giving anxious moments to hundreds of residents living nearby. More than 5,000 armymen were called in to help control the fire. It took over seven hours to control the blaze.
Infamous for its severe pollution, the Bellandur lake is a rotting water body in the state.
“Residents living around the lake reported huge clouds of smoke emitting from the highly polluted lake. Authorities are in the process of dousing the fire and the exact cause of the fire on the lake is yet to be ascertained”, reported The Times Of India.Click Here: Cheap Chiefs Rugby Jersey 2019
