Despite WWE indicating on their recent conference call that the event is sold out, tonight’s WWE Evolution is still about 200 tickets shy of being a sell-out which would make the current attendance at about 11,000. One interesting development with tickets was that scalpers and the secondary market went in heavy early on and the demand hasn’t been nearly as strong as anticipated, causing tickets on this market to now be selling for as low as $7 to $8 – the lowest price on big shows in many years.
Ticket sales were said to be “dying” early and only picked up after The Ronda Rousey vs. Nikki Bella Match was announced but it is still not doing well, given that there are still over 1000 tickets left on the secondary market and as mentioned, some cheaper than $8.
