SmackDown will be airing live this Tuesday night on the USA Network as usual, and it will serve as the final episode of the show before the Fastlane pay-per-view that WWE will be hosting later in the weekend. Although the show is still days away from taking place, WWE has just confirmed two of the segments that will be taking place on the show, and they both just so happen to involve current champions of the blue brand. First off, it looks like The Miz will take on Jey Uso in a single match during SmackDown. Miz and Shane McMahon will face both Jimmy & Jey Uso in a rematch for the SmackDown Tag Team Championships during Fastlane, so consider this match a preview of what’s to come during the PPV.
Also announced for SmackDown is a match with a championship up for grabs. Following his victory over Rey Mysterio and Andrade last week, R-Truth has confirmed that he will be hosting another open challenge for his United States Championship during this Tuesday’s show. R-Truth has been doing the open challenges for his title lately because he wants to make John Cena proud of him. Of course, Cena held open challenges for the US Championship every week back when he won the strap a couple of years ago. Given the other members of the SmackDown roster and the recent NXT call-ups, it will certainly be interesting to see who challenges R-Truth and if the current champion can get another big win.

It’s been common knowledge for a while now that Seth Rollins will be challenging Brock Lesnar for the Universal Championship at WrestleMania 35 this year. Rollins chose to face Lesnar at the event the night after winning the men’s Royal Rumble match back in January. Lately, he has been preparing for the match, but he has also been getting ready to open his very own coffee shop. The former world champion just celebrated the grand opening of his new cafe called “392 D-Port” in Davenport, Iowa this week. The cafe is located not too far from his Black & Brave wrestling school. Rollins talked a bit about the endeavor in a new video for WWE, which curious fans can view by clicking down below:
