Second and third team of regular championship are in semifinal. Fakel Novy Urengoi and Zenit Kazan lost the second match. Decisive third match of these duels is on programme on 9th April.
Iskra Odintsovo claimed 3:0 victory in Novosibirsk even without the biggest star Giba. The best scorer of the game was J. Schops with 18 points. Dynamo Moscow had a tough game in Ufa. Ural was leading 2:1 unfortunately it was not enough, Dynamo acquired fourth set and in the fifth set allowed only 9 points to home team.
Zenit Kazan won the first battle with Lokomotiv Belgorod in fifth set 24:22. Second game was expected to be the similar fight… Belgorod started well and in the whole match did not give chance to team of V. Alekno. The result 3:0 on behalf of Lokomotiv.
The winner of the regular season Fakel Novy Urengoi had a chance to qualify for the semifinal in Surgut. Fakel was two sets from semifinal after first set. From the second set Gazprom improved attack and won three sets in a row.

In the third quarterfinals Kazan will host Belgorod and Novy Urengoi will play Surgut in front of the home fans.
