Tottenham will not punish defender Serge Aurier after the Ivorian was arrested on suspicion of assault.
The club have decided not to discipline the defender after he was released without charge on Sunday morning.
Police were called to his Hertfordshire home, where he lives with his reality star partner Hencha Voigt, on suspicion of actual bodily harm.
His arrest meant he missed Tottenham’s defeat to Manchester United later that day.
The player himself has strongly denied the assault and the club now believe the case to be over.
A club spokesman said: “We are aware of an incident concerning Serge Aurier this weekend. The player was released without charge.”
Aurier signed for the north London outfit from Paris Saint-Germain in 2017 and is known to be a troublemaker.
Upon his arrival with the club, Pochettino once joked he “would headbutt” him if he got into more trouble.
He has been in-and-out of the lineup since his move due to the presence of England right-back Kieran Trippier, making 12 appearances in all competitions this season.
