Gonzalo Higuain is on the verge of signing for Chelsea, manager Maurizio Sarri has confirmed.
The Juventus striker landed in the UK on Wednesday morning after cutting short his loan move at AC Milan to push through a switch to the Premier League club.

“He is a very strong striker, especially in my first season in Naples. He did very well.
“For sure he is one of the best strikers in my career. He has the right experience to play here.
Under Sarri, Higuain scored 36 goals in 35 league games during the 2015/16 season, breaking Gunnar Nordahl’s 66-year-old Serie A record, to claim in claim the league’s Golden Boot (Capocannoniere) award.
Chelsea are currently fourth, three points clear of Arsenal and Manchester United and it is hoped Higuain’s goals will allow Eden Hazard to flourish in his natural role on the left as the club look to secure a top four finish in the Premier League.
