In a shocking incident, the students of an aided inter college in Ballia in Uttar Pradesh were punished for singing “Vande Mataram” and chanting “Bharat Mata Ki Jai”.
Members of social welfare organisation, Manas Mandir found out on Friday that students at GMAM Inter College on Bilthara Road were punished for singing “Vande Mataram” or chanting “Bharat Mata Ki Jai” after the school prayers and complained to the authorities.
