When you are looking for fashion of the beaten track, alternative trade shows Londonedge and Londoncentral could be the answer. This September the fashion fairs feature neo-grunge designs characterised by heavy layering, natural colours and a fusion of tweed, knits and flannel. The upcoming style incorporates key garments including lumberjack shirts, kilts, bleached jeans, colourful leggings and knitted hats.
At Londoncentral you’ll find Tranquillo’s bohemian skirts and Afghani trousers in earthy tones and pastels. Long-term Londonedge exhibitors, US-based Lucky Lenn offer Rockabilly clothing for men and women. Their men’s plaid pants and Liquorbrand Tartan Cowgirl Shirts are neo-grunge classics. For girls there is New Rock’s range of biker boots with floral dresses or T.U.K. Shoes’ vintage style hi-top sneakers with skinny jeans and layered knits on offer.
From over-sized knitted beanie hats to men’s tartan trousers, the complete neo-grunge look is on show at Londonedge and Londoncentral. The next Londonedge and Londoncentral will take place from 6-8th September 2009 at Olympia 2 in London.
