Neymar believes the Champions League last 16 clash between Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain will be a ‘match for football lovers’.
However, the Brazil international warned his opponents he expects the Parisians to dump the Premier League giants out of Europe.
United welcome PSG to Old Trafford for the first leg of the last-16 clash on February 12, before the return leg in France on March 6.
The defending French champions are 13 points clear in Ligue 1 with two games in hand, meaning boss Thomas Tuchel can afford to focus on the Champions League.
Meanwhile United have enjoyed a resurgent run of form under caretaker boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer – winning seven games on the spin.
Although PSG may no longer be as heavy favourites as when the draw was made in December, Neymar is still expecting his side to progress from an enthralling encounter.
“We are winning everything,” he told Canal+. “The Champions League is every footballer’s dream.
“We realise it is difficult, but our team can do it. We have high-quality players, we can aim high. We are on the right path.
“We have a great match coming up [against Manchester United]. It will be a great match for football lovers, and we are happy to face great teams.”
