2019 NFCA National Convention registration is open

Posted on August 22, 2019

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — The largest gathering of softball coaches and exhibitors in the country heads to Atlantic City, N.J., for the 2019 NFCA National Convention. This year’s edition of the Greatest Softball Show on Earth takes place Dec. 4-7 at Harrah’s Resort Atlantic City.

In 2019, there is 27 percent more programming, over 22 hours of education, a heavy-hitting speaker lineup that includes nine national champions, the largest Exhibit Show ever, featuring education for the first time, and much more.

Don’t get “caught looking.” Register by Nov. 1 to take advantage of our early-bird rates. Members make sure you are logged in for member pricing.

For all of your 2019 NFCA Convention needs, check out the Convention Home Page. The link can also be found on the top of NFCA.org and in our side menu.

Members who sign up by Nov. 1 will receive the early-bird rate of $365 for full registration. The cost increases to $415 after Nov. 1 and climbs to $465 after Nov. 25. The non-member rate starts at $490 and increases to $540 after Nov. 1 and to $590 after Nov. 25. Non-members can join the NFCA and qualify for the Convention discount.

There is a discounted Friday/Saturday registration rate starting at $290 for high school, travel ball and youth coaches who cannot attend the full Convention. Those coaches receive access to all speaker sessions, after-hours social functions, the Exhibit Hall and meals those two days.

A SPECIAL surrounding states discount of $50 is available to high school, travel ball or youth coaches from the following states – Connecticut, Delaware, Maryland, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York or Rhode Island. Please call the NFCA at (502) 409-4600 by Nov. 1 to receive this exclusive offer.

What’s included in your Convention registration?
Attendees at Convention have access to more than 50 speakers, two breakfasts, the NFCA Opening Reception, caucus meetings, the Scrap Yard Sports Happy Hour, the always-popular mentoring workshop, an attendee gift, access to all the latest and greatest products and companies, along with education in Exhibit Hall, fireside chats, committee meeting, the Diamond Sports/PGF Pool Party, NFCA Awards Brunch, NFCA Hall of Fame Reception and Banquet and more.

Additionally, NFCA members may meet one-on-one with Association legal counsel Samantha Ekstrand.

What’s New
This year the Convention will offer two Drills, Drills, Drills sessions, education in the Exhibit Hall, education for the High School and Travel Caucus presented by Wilson and all our coaches will be honored in one place at the Awards Brunch.

Extra opportunities to learn
For a small additional cost, choose from two three-hour pre-Convention seminars from 1-4:00 p.m. on Dec. 4 or three National Fastpitch Coaches College classes, two prior to Convention (Dec. 3-4) and one after on Dec. 7-8.

Unprecedented Exhibit Show
For the first-time ever, we’re bringing education into the Exhibit Hall. Stay tuned for who will be presenting and when, but until then, start planning how you will make it through the largest Exhibit Show in NFCA history. Not to mention, the Digital Silent Auction returns for its second year, bringing you incredible deals on equipment, apparel and technology for your programs. Be sure to visit your favorite companies and make time for new faces to the softball market.

Hall of Fame
At the most prestigious event of Convention, join us in honoring the Class of 2019 – former Northern Illinois head coach, administrator and NCAA Secretary-Rules editor Dee Abrahamson, the late Immaculate Heart Academy head coach Anthony LaRezza and Cypress College head coach Brad Pickler – as they are the newest members enshrined into the NFCA Hall of Fame.
