LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The National Fastpitch Coaches Association revealed that 160 student-athletes, representing 99 programs, received 2019 NFCA High School All-Region accolades.
These awards honor softball student-athletes from the Association’s five regions with first- and second-team recognitions. NFCA member coaches from each region’s respective committees selected the honorees, and recipients are now eligible for the 2019 NFCA High School All-America squads.
2019 NFCA High School All-Region Teams
Donovan Catholic High School (East) out of Toms River, N.J., and Eagle High School (West) from West Ada, Idaho led the way with five overall selections. Buchanan High School (West) from Clovis, Calif., Howell (Mich.) High School (North), Montclair, N.J.’s Immaculate Conception High School (East), and Mt. St. Dominic Academy (East) from Caldwell, N.J. had four student-athletes recognized.

Donovan Catholic topped the charts with four first-team honors. Buchanan, Bradshaw Mountain High School (West) from Prescott Valley, Ariz., and Howell earned three first-team accolades.
Topping the South Central Region with three honorees was Keller (Texas) High School, while a trio- North Davidson High School (Lexington, N.C.), Parkview Baptist School (Baton Rouge, La.) and Spain Park High School (Birmingham, Ala.) – from the South Region captured three plaudits.
The 2019 NFCA High School All-American teams will be announced on Tuesday, July 9.
