Juventus are in advanced talks to sign Manchester United flop Matteo Darmian on loan, reports claim.
The Italy right-back has made just six appearances this season, and is yet to start a league game under interim boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
Darmian joined United in a £12.7million deal from Torino in 2015, but has failed to hold down a regular first-team place under Louis van Gaal, Jose Mourinho or Solskjaer.
The Guardian say the 29-year-old is keen to move back to Serie A, with Juventus keen to take him on loan and then pay a £7.1million fee in the summer.
Darmian’s four-year contract expires in six months’ time, however, United are prepared to extend it in order to get a fee from the Serie A champions.
Despite playing 91 times for United, his Old Trafford future looks bleak under Solskjaer.
The Red Devils have won seven successive games under the Norwegian and are just three points from fourth-placed Chelsea.
