So, Um, Gwyneth Paltrow Thought Hailey Bieber's Glazing Serum Was Lube?

Gwyneth Paltrow may be the queen of wellness, but even she slips up sometimes when it comes to keeping on top of all the beauty and skincare trends.

She sat down for a lols chat with Hailey Bieber, for the latest installment of the model's "Who's In My Bathroom?" series on YouTube, which you can watch below. In the episode, the two beauty brand founders chatted through smoothie-making, wellness routines, and skin-care regimens.

Truthfully, we knew tea would be spilt when less than two minutes in, Paltrow had already joked about sleeping with Bieber's dad (no, really). Goop's founder let slip "I think I know your dad and your uncles," before revealing she'd worked on a small indie film with Bieber's father, Stephen Baldwin, when she was just 20, calling the experience "great." A relieved Bieber replied, "imagine you had some horror story like 'that was terrible,'" before Paltrow jumped right back in with "or if I'd fucked your dad in the bathroom!" Um, yeah.

Although Paltrow was quick to clear things up, laughing "I didn't! I didn't!" she did admit to another sexual faux pas when she confused Hailey Bieber's signature glazed donut skin-care routine with something a little saucier.

Bieber was introducing her Rhode Peptide Glazing Fluid when Paltrow asked "Glazing Fluid? What are you glazing?" Ever the professional, the model explained, "I know you're curious about this glazed donut concept…For me, it's about the look – that sheen, that glowy, glazy sheen. I don't want to go to bed at night unless I look like a freshly glazed donut."

A baffled Paltrow replied, "Ohhhhhh. Okay. Got it," before Bieber asked, "Why? Where did your head go?"

You see where this is going, guys…

"First it went to, like, does that mean someone wants to lick your face?" explained the Goop founder, "then I thought glazed donut sounded sort of… sexual?" she laughed. Whew, get your mind out the gutter, Gwynnie.

Bieber took it all in good stride though, joking, "Ha! You're like 'what's this new position everyone's getting into? The glazed donut?!'" And to make extra sure there was no more confusion, she ran Paltrow through the ingredients to convince her there's nothing suss in there. "It's basically a gel-hybrid serum…It's filled with peptides and hyaluronic acid so it's really hydrating and plumping."

So, now GP's been properly schooled in the art of glazed donut skin, who's gonna tell her about the trend's baby sis, glazed donut nails? Or that lube primer hack we all quickly binned-off, for that matter? No, really.
