A fuming Chelsea supporter has called for Maurizio Sarri to be SACKED as manager.
Simon the Blue was spitting feathers when he called into The Sports Bar on talkSPORT on Tuesday night, slamming the ‘stubborn’ Italian, comparing him to Arsene Wenger and accusing him of ruining their midfield.
Fans are beginning to turn on their team and manager following a poor run of form which has seen them suffer from a lack of attacking threat.
Chelsea have scored eight goals in their last nine games in all competitions, and the last time they scored three or more goals in a game was back in November.
Some have pointed the finger at Sarri and his questionable decisions from the sidelines – including playing N’Golo Kante out of position and continuing to pick the same players despite their poor performances.
And it appears it’s all got a bit too much for Simon, who wants the Italian out of his club.
Hear his ‘Sarri Out’ rant from The Sports Bar IN FULL below!
“I can’t stand Sarri, I think he’s absolutely awful,” he said.
“We have the best defensive midfielder in world football and you go and buy Jorginho – what were Chelsea thinking when they did that?
“They’ve got Kante, why do they need Jorginho?
“Kovacic – how does he get in the team ahead of Barkley and Loftus-Cheek? How? How does he get in the team? He’s a sidewards and backwards player – zero goals, zero assists.
“The whole midfield has no goals, no creativity.
“Sarri makes mistake after mistake. I want him out, definitely, 100 per cent.
“He’s so stubborn! No matter what, he does the same thing over and over again!
“He reminds me of Arsene Wenger. He’s so set in his own ways and I think that will be his downfall.”
On Monday, having watched his side lose to Arsenal, talkSPORT presenter and Stamford Bridge regular was equally scathing about the club.
