The 22-year-old moves to Craven Cottage on a five-year contract after three years at the Stade Vélodrome, for a fee that is understood to amount to €30m.
The deal – which becomes a club record for newly-promoted Fulham – required a two-hour transfer extension to ensure the necessary paperwork was completed in time.
Anguissa’s eye-catching performances were integral to Marseille’s run to the Europa League Final last season and he made 37 appearances to help Rudi Garcia’s side finish 4th in Ligue 1.
The deal to take the young midfielder to South West London represents notable financial value for Marseille, who initially signed Anguissa in a low-profile move from Reims’ reserve side for less than €500k in 2015.
Anguissa becomes Fulham’s third summer recruit from Ligue 1 alone, following the signings Jean Michaël Seri and Maxime Le Marchand.
