L’Équipe confirm that Ligue 1 side Lyon have made an approach for 33-year-old central defender Laurent Koscielny.
The French international defender is out of contract with Arsenal in 12 months time; Rennes, Bayer Leverkusen and AC Milan are all possible destinations this summer.
Lyon made contact at the beginning of May, when Juninho was appointed Sporting Director and Sylvinho as manager.
Koscielny is interested in Lyon, but Arsenal are not willing to let the Frenchman for free and may even offer him a contract extension.
OL continue to pursue deals for Eric Bailly (Manchester United) and Joachim Andersen (Sampdoria) and could sign two central defenders this summer, with Koscielny being one of them.
If they are able to sign two centre-backs, then they may seek to push Marcelo out of the door.
