Speaking to reporters following OGC Nice’s 1-0 defeat to St Étienne, Les Aiglons’ manager Adrian Ursea admitted that he feared a negative reaction from the fans as the club continues to suffer with poor form. He was asked about this matter the day after Marseille fans attacked their club’s own training ground, resulting in arrests and OM player Alvaro Gonzalez being hit by a projectile.
Les Aiglons have won just two times in all competitions in their last 16 matches.
“Everything is possible. But we have explained ourselves to our supporters. They must know that we are doing everything we can and we are the first to be unhappy with this situation. All that interests us, is to find a solution to be able to sort out our performances. In terms of our fans and spectators, we can expect anything. But I do not think (the events that occurred in Marseille) that this would be a good solution to get out of this. They have already given us a warning. We are in football, we are in a game, we can lose or win. The fans must know that we are doing everything to get out of this situation.”
