As reported by RMC, PSG sporting director Leonardo was questioned by 200 economics students at Paris’ Sorbonne university on Thursday evening. In a question and answer session on the ‘economics and management of international clubs’ that lasted 90 minutes, and ended with chants of ‘one more question’, a range of topics were covered.
Impressing students with his level of French, when asked how discussions over Kylian Mbappé’s future were progressing, Leonardo answered: “Kylian is wonderful, you know. He’s different, unique. You know what we want… that’s clear. We will see.” Criticised by one student for “accumulating stars”, Leonardo defended himself and PSG’s recruitment policy by saying that “seven clubs spend more than PSG do.”
