As reported by France Bleu, Rennes are interested in signing Tottenham Hotspur and France international goalkeeper Hugo Lloris.
Lloris’ contract in London is up in the summer and he has yet to negotiate an extension with Spurs despite Antonio Conte’s stated aim to continue to rely on the 35-year-old, a situation that has caught the Ligue 1 club’s attention.
Rennes owner François Pinault has long been keen to sign Lloris, despite his €500,000 gross monthly salary, and SRFC assessed the feasibility of signing the keeper last summer. Although complicated, Rennes have judged the transfer an achievable one, say the outlet.
Former club OGC Nice could provide competition for Lloris’ services, however.
