L’Équipe report that midfielder Hatem Ben Arfa has trained at Lille ahead of his imminent free transfer to Les Dogues, which is dependent on Yusuf Yazıcı’s move to CSKA Moscow.
The 24-year-old Turkish international, who underwent his medical in Germany, is still waiting for the green light on his move to Russia, in a loan deal with a €12m permanent option.
The Lille staff are said to have found the former Lyon, Marseille and Nice man in good shape in his individual training sessions, and once his move goes through he could find a place in the squad for the match against Brest on Saturday.
Manager Jocelyn Gourvennec is expected to play the 34-year-old through the middle, as a central piece of his game plan.
