RMC is reporting that OGC Nice have agreed personal terms with Nantes winger Moses Simon (26), who has been given the green light for a move away from this year’s Coupe de France winners.
In Wednesday’s press conference, Nantes general manager Franck Kita announced that Simon was amongst a group of players who would be allowed to leave should an “interesting offer” arrive. Les Aiglons are moving swiftly to secure a deal for the Nigerian winger, who in 30 Ligue 1 appearances last season scored 6 and assisted 8.
Nice aren’t the only team interested in the player, however. Leeds United are also following Simon according to RMC, although, unlike Nice, they haven’t agreed terms.
On a potential departure for Simon, Alban Lafont (23) and Ludovic Blas (24) , Kita said, “We would be delighted if they stayed, but if there are interesting offers, we would have to think about them. Are there any offers? That’s part of the backstage business of the transfer market; I can’t talk too much about it. I can just say that those players are here now.”
