As reported by BUT, Juventus have registered their interest in signing PSG midfielder Leandro Paredes.
Despite the Argentine international’s contract running to 2024 in Paris, he was included on a list of 11 players PSG are planning on selling this transfer window and Manchester United were quoted a fee of €35m to sign the 28-year-old three years after he joined the French club from Zenit St. Petersburg for €40m.
With the World Cup on the horizon and likely to be deemed surplus to requirements at PSG, Paredes is interested in a return to Italy after spells with Chievo and Roma in the past. Inter Milan have cooled their interest and turned to other options but Juventus remain strongly interested in the midfielder.
Contacts between the Italian club and the player’s entourage have been regular of late while Juve coach Massimiliano Allegri has approved his potential signing and a concrete offer is being prepared. However, Juventus could wait to sell Adrian Rabiot and/or Arthur before pushing to sign Paredes.
