Arsenal boss Unai Emery will be hoping it’s fourth time lucky against Chelsea this weekend.
Emery’s Gunners welcome their London rivals to the Emirates on Saturday evening in the showpiece game of the Premier League weekend.
The north Londoners have struggled for consistent form in recent weeks and need a win to keep pace with the top-flight’s top four.
But Emery may have extra determination to beat the Blues as he has failed to do so in his managerial career to date.
The Spaniard has faced Chelsea three times in his career so far, twice as Valencia boss in 2011 and a third time earlier this season.
Unai Emery vs Chelsea
Valencia 1 Chelsea 1 – Champions League Group Stage, 28 September 2011

The corresponding fixture was an easy affair for Chelsea after Didier Drogba scored within three minutes.
Ramires doubled the Blues’ lead before Drogba struck again. Roberto Di Matteo’s side went on to win the competition that year, beating Bayern Munich on penalties in the final.
Chelsea 3 Arsenal 2 – Premier League, 18 August 2018
In just Emery’s second match in charge of Arsenal, Pedro and Alvaro Morata scored early for Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.
Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Alex Iwobi got the Gunners level before Marcos Alonso struck late on in a pulsating tie.
Recent Arsenal record vs Chelsea
The London rivals have faced each other 11 times over the last three seasons.
Arsenal have won five times, Chelsea three and there have been three draws in those fixtures.
The Gunners have claimed two Community Shield trophies against the Blues in the last few years and have enjoyed success in both the FA Cup and Carabao Cup.
But Chelsea have had the better of their league fixtures including a top-flight double in the 2015/16 season.
