James Rodriguez will not be leaving Bayern Munich in this transfer window, following reports he could be joining\u00a0Arsenal in a short-term move.<\/p>\n
The Colombian playmaker, who has six months left on a two-year loan from Real Madrid, has found the net just three times for the Bundesliga giants this season.<\/p>\n
That led to speculation in the British and Italian press that the 27-year-old could move on this month, with the Gunners and Napoli mooted as potential targets.<\/p>\n
Rodriguez hasn’t always been a regular starter under Niko Kovac, who took over as coach last summer.<\/p>\n
However, ESPN claims Rodriguez will see out the remainder of his loan at Bayern before evaluating his options in the summer.<\/p>\n
The 2017 agreement between the two clubs includes an option for Bayern to make the deal permanent in July 2019, if they pay a reported \u00a337m in addition to the \u00a311.5m loan fee.<\/p>\n
Napoli remain confident they can strike a deal for the Colombian striker over the summer, with their current boss Carlo Ancelotti striking up a great relationship with Rodriguez during their time together at both Madrid and Bayern.<\/p>\n
